“Australia’s home renovation sector enjoyed its busiest quarter in 14 years, during the 3 months to September 2018” MBA Chief Economist Shane Garrett said.

The home renovation industry has benefited from the banks recent tougher lending policies. The tightening credit conditions have prevented many families from being able to move house, so many have decided to renovate their existing homes instead.
